At the airport, welcome you and 1 hour picturesque drive (68 km) along the course of the Paro Chhu (Paro River) and the Wang Chhu (Thimphu River) will bring you to the capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu. Check into your hotel and begin the sightseeing with a visit to the Memorial Chorten and the Changangkha temple. Evening dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Morning visit to Bhutan Animal Protection Park, Park Bhutan's most representative animals - Tarkin the TAKIN also known as neither fish nor fowl. Then drove to Punakha. To a hilltop look out around the Greater Himalayas over seven thousand meters high peaks magnificent scenery, and views of the 108 stupas, enjoy a leisurely tea. Morning after breakfast, then drive back to Paro check in hotel, after lunch then sightseeing with Ta-Dzong, the National Museum (closed on Sundays and Mondays), which was originally the watch tower of the Paro Dzong and stands imposingly on a hillock overlooking the Paro valley. A short visit here will give you an idea of the cultural and ecological richness of Bhutan. Ramble down to visit the Paro Rinpung Dzong, the ‘fortress of the heap of jewels’ and on to Dungtse Lhakhang by crossing Namai zampa (a traditional cantilever bridge). This Lhakhang is conceived as a ‘mandala’ with the different storey’s corresponding to different levels of initiation and has a remarkable collection of some of Bhutan’s most interesting paintings and overnight stay at hotel.

The main highlight of the day is one of Bhutan’s most venerated pilgrimage sites, the Taktsang Goemba, commonly referred to as the ‘Tiger’s Nest’. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche miraculously flew here on the back of a tigress, meditated in a cave here for three months and converted the whole of Paro valley to Buddhism. Resting at an altitude of 900 m above the valley, Taktsang is an architectural wonder and the spectacular four hour walk will be your most overwhelming experience ever. Drive on to visit Drukgyel Dzong (the ruined fortress -17 km from the town), built in 1647 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal to commemorate his victory over the Tibetans in 1644. Drukgyel means ‘fortress of the victorious Drukpas’. The Dzong, with a delightful village nestling at its foot, and the Mount of Jumolhari (Alt 24,000 feet) appearing as a back drop on a fine weather is an awe-inspiring sight. On the way back to hotel, visit the Kichu Monastery. Built sometime in early 7th century by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gempo, it is one of the oldest temple in Bhutan. O/n Paro.

Morning after breakfast then transfer to Paro airport fly back to Kathmandu arrive then transfer to city for Lunch at Restaurant after lunch visit visit Sowyambhunath Temple is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. The Swayambhunath complex consists of a stupa, a variety of shrines and temples, some dating back to the Licchavi period. A Tibetan monastery, museum and library are more recent additions. The stupa has Buddha's eyes and eyebrows painted on. Between them, the number one (in Devanagari script) is painted in the fashion of a nose. And Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu’s Durbar Square is the site of the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex, which was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and where important ceremonies, such as the coronation of the Nepalese monarch, still take place today. Time and again the temples and the palaces in the square have gone through reconstruction after being damaged by natural causes or neglect. Presently there are less than ten quadrangles in the square. The temples are being preserved as national heritage sites and the palace is being used as a museum. Only a few parts of the palace are open for visitors and the Taleju temples are only open for people of Hindu and Buddhist faiths. At the southern end of Durbar Square is one of the most curious attractions in Nepal, the Kumari Chowk. This gilded cage contains the Raj Kumari, a girl chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess, Durga. She is worshiped during religious festivals and makes public appearances at other times for a fee paid to her guards. Then free time for Shopping in Ason (The Local Market) and Thamel Area, Evening dinner at Typical Nepali Restaurant with live folk music and Dance, then transfer to International Airport for your final Departure to your Home destination.
