Visit St. Francis' Church, built in the year 1503 by Portuguese Franciscan Friars & known to be the oldest European church in India. It was restored in the year 1779 by the protestant Dutch, converted to an Anglican Church by the British in 1795. Vasco da Gama's remains were buried here in 1524 & later moved to Lisbon, Portugal, then visit Dutch Palace, originally built by the Portuguese. Later in 17th century they modified it & presented it to the Raja (King) of Kochi (Cochin). The Palace has a fine collection of mural paintings depicting scenes from Hindu epics, Mahabharata & Ramayana, and then visit Chinese fishing nets, (Cheenavala) are distinctly unique to Cochin. It is believed that traders from the court of the Chinese ruler Kublai Khan introduced these nets here. Today morning day at leisure you can relax at the resort, later check out and drive to Allepey the most popular backwater destination in Kerala, up on arrival board the houseboat locally called Kettuvallam, and cruise around beautiful Vembanad lake, This lake offers an enchanting experience to the tourists. The lake is the best picnic spot, where you can relax your mind and body. While the water gives the place a cooling effect, trees and shrubs act as a respite to the parched eyes. During the journey you can see ancient temples, churches, paddy fields and watch the day to day activities of the local people who live nearby. Your crew members will serve delicious Kerala food on board and will take good care of you. Morning after breakfast check out from House boat and drive to Payyapad to explore the Traditional boat race, It is another spectacular boat race of Kerala held annually on the Payippad River in Alleppey. The boat used in this festival are termed as Snake boats as they resemble snakes in their appearances. These 100 feet long boat can accommodate around 100 people at a time. A single generally comprises of oarsmen and musicians who sing and shout throughout the event making the environment rise in verve and energy. Later continue drive to Munnar you will reach late night and stay overnight in Munnar.
Morning after breakfast you can explore the beautiful hill station, you can cover various viewpoints, visit Tea museum – where they will show you the history of Tea and tea making, then visit Mattupatty Dam which is greatest water reservoir in Munnar, later after lunch start drive to Ooty up on arrival check in to the hotel and stay overnight in Ooty.
Morning done your breakfast you can experience the toy train ride from Ooty to Coonoor (0915/ 1025HRS) after reaching Coonoor, drive back to Ooty spend some time for sightseeing visit Botanical garden and Rose garden and then continue drive to Mysore. Up on arrival check in and stay overnight in Mysore.
Morning finish your breakfast you can visit Tippu palace in Srirangapatnam and then drive to Mysore visit famous Mysore palace, The architectural style of the palace is commonly described as Indo-Saracenic, and blends together Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture. It is a three-storied stone structure, with marble domes and a 145 feet five-storied tower. The palace is surrounded by a large garden. Palace was designed by Henry Irwin, the British consultant architect of Madras State, and completed in 1912 on the site of the old wooden palace that was destroyed by fire in 1897, It is the official residence of the Woodeyars - the erstwhile royal family of Mysore, and also houses two durbar halls (ceremonial meeting hall of the royal court). Later Visit Chamundi Hills, we can see the temple of Goddess Chamundeswari, The Chamundi Hills are located close to the palace city of Mysore. Morning after breakfast drive to Bangalore on arrival transfer to airport for Goa bound flight, arrive Goa, the one-time Portuguese colony on the Arabian Sea. Under Alfonso de Albuquerque, the Portuguese landed here in the 16th century, capturing the original Arab trade settlement and building a city festooned with gardens and fountains, monasteries and churches, most of them sadly now gone. Goa became a rich source of trade, bringing east and west together to trade pearls and rubies, exotic spices and Chinese porcelain. This eclectic mix of cultural influences has had a marked effect on the region, with Catholicism still firmly entrenched and the Portuguese custom of afternoon siestas still widely practised in the heat of the afternoon. Food too plays a big part in Goa's heritage, with pork vindaloo being a particularly popular dish and the locally brewed feni - a spine-tingling spirit made from coconut or cashews - providing a favoured.
